In 1999 the company identified a market need for high quality print that required a finish to repel UV degradation and pollution for 5 plus years. On advice from independent chemists it realised that the interaction of 2 - component products was the only real way to create the best UV inhibitors for long life. Now, almost a decade later, 23% of the company's sales are finished in either matt, satin or vibrant gloss 2 - component water based lacquers.
In 2008 the lacquers were further adapted so that they now also have an optional anti-graffiti feature. These new lacquers are manufactured exclusively for Macro Art who confidently predict further strong client demand for this unique product.
